Grape Mapleaid is the newest hydration variety launched just this month by UnTapped, the Richmond, Vermont based all-natural athletic fuel company. Composed of just three ingredients (pure Vermont maple syrup, grape juice, and sea salt) Grape Mapleaid follows suit of the all-natural product line UnTapped produces. The newest Mapleaid offering contains 80 calories and 300 mg of sodium per serving.
Grape Mapleaid is launched just in time to be on course for the 50th Anniversary American Birkebeiner (“Birkie”) at the end of February in Hayward, Wisconsin, where UnTapped is the official fuel and hydration sponsor. Designed for athletes, by athletes, with a focus on real ingredients sets UnTapped’s product line apart from other endurance fueling options.
“Purple power! I love the taste and that this is made with real ingredients and allergen friendly,” says Event Director and ultra runner Aliza Lapierre. “I find that it’s not overly sweet, is incredibly satisfying, and contains the right electrolyte balance meet my needs.” Lapierre is currently training for Cocodona 250, and has been using UnTapped products every step of the way.
