The Space Heater

● 2 cinnamon sticks
● 2 pieces Lemon peel (for garnish)
● 2 1″ pieces fresh ginger, peeled and sliced thinly
● juice of one lemon
● 16 oz boiling water
● 2 ounces favorite bourbon (plus more, if you wish)
● 2 Tbsp UnTapped Maple
● a pinch of sea salt

Into each heat-proof glass or thermos, place a cinnamon stick, a piece of lemon peel, half of the ginger slices, maple syrup, a pinch of salt, and the juice of 1/2 a lemon. Pour 8 oz boiling water (or more if you wish) into each mug/thermos and cover to let steep. Stir in bourbon when you’re ready to enjoy + raise glasses high!

Alternatively: Tea can be steeped 5 days ahead in a big batch. Cover and chill. Reheat before serving.
