In 1961 Mickey Cochran built a rope tow on an old hillside farm in Richmond. His vision continued a tradition of community ski areas in Vermont. During the 1990s Mickey’s grandson Ryan Cochran-Siegle, took up the family legacy of ski racing on that hill. Sixty-one years after the first rope tow, RCS won a Silver Medal at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and will be once again representing the USA in Italy in February!
