As you certainly expect, we at UnTapped are aware of the spread of the novel coronavirus causing COVID-19. Below you'll find the precautions we're taking to prevent the spread of the disease. Since we provide food products, we try to always be aware of public health issues. We have a food safety plan that follows industry best practices for everything from employee health to sourcing ingredients and final delivery (and everything in between). Our facility is inspected by the Vermont Department of Health which includes checking that there are adequate hand washing facilities and signage instructing employees to wash hands and how to do so. We also provide hand sanitizer at the entrance to our facility and at several points throughout. Our policies require hand washing on arrival and before handling any product. We also provide paid time off to employees so that they can stay home while ill.
In response to the current outbreak:
We have asked employees to be extra vigilant of their health including checking their own temperature daily. Employees who are unwell will stay home until free from symptoms for at least 24 hours.
We have asked all of our employees to work from home whenever possible.
We are allowing employees additional paid time off.
Visitors have been asked to reschedule meetings. Non-essential visitors are not currently allowed at our facility.
As the CDC has recommended, we have canceled our event involvement until May 11th. We will re-evaluate our involvement as the situation evolves and the CDC provides more guidance.
- We have implemented a shop support program to help assist our retail partners. Read more here.
We are continuing to follow all guidance from the Vermont Department of Health and CDC and will update our policies as needed.
So far, we are happy to report that we have suffered no interruption as a result of the current outbreak. We do not anticipate any supply shortages or shipping interruption. If something should cause an inability to fulfill orders we will inform everyone as quickly as possible.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to us at email@example.com.
We are still trying to meet our two day guarantee, but due to current circumstances carriers are no longer guaranteeing transit times and therefore we also cannot offer our guarantee until further notice.
